Privacy and control

Your data. Your memory. Your choice.

Inspect what AlVolo is allowed to remember, correct it, stop it from influencing future journeys, or erase it. Persistent personalization is always off for guests and requires explicit permission for a signed-in traveler.

Privacy policy

Information we may collect

This may include your name, email address, travel search details, passenger information, booking preferences, and messages sent to support.

How we use information

We use information to process searches, preserve authenticated Journey drafts and choices, send account-recovery messages, and provide requested planning assistance.

Payments and bookings

The current preview does not collect card details, charge a payment method, create a provider order, or issue a ticket. If commercial execution is activated later, its privacy terms and provider disclosures must be updated before use. AlVolo does not sell your personal information.

Optional Google route information

When enabled, onward-route lookups send the arrival airport, destination town or city, and an applicable planning departure time to Google Maps. This lookup does not send your name, passenger details, precise device location, or Travel DNA. Separately, if you choose Find my boarding stop in Companion and explicitly consent, AlVolo sends your current device coordinates and chosen destination to Google Maps for one transit lookup. Coordinates are used only for that request and are not retained by AlVolo. Declining permission leaves landmark-based conversation available. Google route responses are displayed temporarily, not saved in your mission or personal memory, sent to our AI, or included in the trip PDF. Google processes requests under its own Privacy Policy.

Companion and voice input

Companion uses the messages and trip details you choose to share to answer your request. Recording is optional: when you finish a recording, its audio is sent to AlVolo’s speech service for transcription. The text appears as an editable draft; you decide whether to send it to Companion.

Use Companion’s Privacy & controls to review its conversation and location options. These are separate from the personal memory controls above.

Open Companion

External service windows

When you open a website from Companion, your browser connects directly to that provider. The provider may receive your IP address, use its own cookies, and process anything you enter under its own terms and privacy policy. AlVolo does not send your conversation or Travel DNA to the website, read its sign-in or checkout, or confirm purchases made there. Some websites require a separate tab. Closing the service window returns you to Companion without marking your request complete.

Data control

The controls above let you inspect, correct, revoke, forget, or reset personal travel memories. For requests about account, support, or booking records outside personal memory, contact AlVolo support.
